The Devialet Phantom I 108 dB loudspeaker houses a patented 1100-watt (RMS) analog-digital hybrid amplifier. A colossal amount of power, thanks to the technology of the on-board woofers. Specifically designed for very low frequencies – down to 16 Hz! – they are naturally not very sensitive, and their aluminum membrane is heavy. These are sine qua non conditions for teasing the subwoofer despite a reduced emissive surface and the load volume of a compact loudspeaker. The midrange and high-frequency registers are handled by two other specific drivers, also with aluminum diaphragms.<\/p>\n
